
Allison Arrigoni, MD
Tulane University
Dr. Arrigoni's BioDr. Arrigoni was born and raised in Seattle, WA (Sea…HAWKS!!). After graduating from
Connecticut College with a double major in biology and Italian, she returned to Seattle
and worked in various labs and as a barista before moving to New Orleans to attend
medical school at Tulane. She loved living (and eating) in New Orleans and is excited
to join the Le Bonheur family and stay in the South for residency! Allison enjoys
reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, getting outside, eating yummy food and spending time
with loved ones. Especially her fur babies, a lab mix by the name of Oliver and his
pug brother Mowgli who belongs to her boyfriend.

Monica Brint, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Brint's BioDr. Brint grew up in Memphis, TN. She graduated from the University of Alabama with
a BS in Biology and Psychology. Monica returned to Memphis and obtained her medical
degree from UTHSC. She is excited to continue her medical training at Le Bonheur and
St Jude as a pediatric resident. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her
boyfriend and family, and trying new exercise classes.

Caitlin Creel, MD
Louisiana State University New Orleans
Dr. Creel's BioDr. Creel grew up in DeQuincy, LA. She attended Louisiana College where she not only
received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry but met the love of her
life. After college, she attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health
Science Center in New Orleans where she received her medical degree. During her time
at LSU, she also pursued her Master of Public Health in Behavioral and Community Health.
Caitlin enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking. She loves to travel and visit national
parks across the country with her husband. She is very excited to begin her training
at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and looks forward to caring for the children of
Memphis.

Hannah Estes, MD
University of Oklahoma, Tulsa
Dr. Estes's BioDr. Estes was born in Eugene, OR, but grew up in Claremore, Ok. She earned her BS
in Biochemistry from Oklahoma Baptist University and went on to attend medical school
at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. Hannah enjoys playing with her dog, McNellie,
working puzzles, playing board games, attending Broadway Musicals, and visiting any
every amusement park. She and her husband, Matthew, are excited to explore Memphis.

Meher Farooq, MD
Florida State University College of Medicine
Dr. Farooq's BioDr. Farooq was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. She graduated from the University
of Florida with a dual degree in Biology and Sociology. After graduation she was a
substitute teacher and did a year of service with the Literacy AmeriCorps of Palm
Beach County, where she was a college readiness coach of Take Stock in Children, a
scholarship organization that helps underserved and at-risk students afford a college
education. During her summer break, she embarked on an unforgettable trip to Pakistan
and led a fundraiser for various organizations such as a women’s shelter, orphanage,
and a major healthcare organization in Pakistan. Meher enjoys watching horror movies,
perfecting the art of makeup, practicing various forms of dance, and traveling the
world.

Laura Galloway, MD
University of South Carolina, Greenville
Dr. Galloway's BioDr. Galloway was born and raised in Anderson, SC. She completed her BS degree in Biology
with a minor in Public Health and Psychology at the College of Charleston in Charleston,
SC. She then went to medical school at the University of South Carolina School of
Medicine Greenville in Greenville, SC. In her spare time, she enjoys binge watching
Netflix, reading, painting, and spending time with her family. Laura is looking forward
to moving to a new state and experiencing Memphis culture.

Brad Guthrie, MD
University of Arizona, Phoenix
Dr. Guthrie's BioDr. Guthrie grew up in Mesa, AZ and completed his undergraduate degree at Arizona
State University followed by medical school at the University of Arizona due to this
he considers himself a desert rat! However, after spending two years completing a
religious mission in New Zealand, he learned that there are places where it does rain,
trees grow tall, and the grass in green. This motivated him and his wife, Solei, to
look outside of Arizona for residency. They are excited they found Memphis! Brad’s
wife is much cooler than him graduating in construction management. They have two
boys, Porter (3 years) and Caleb (1 year). They love karaoke and spontaneous dance
parties. They like to cook together (anything sweet and if they are brave international
dishes). They do not have any dogs (much to the chagrin of Porter and Solei). They
are avid couponers and will do almost anything to get a good deal. They are also amateur
outdoor adventurists (like most people). Mostly they try to enjoy life they are creating
together now at UTHSC!

Leanna Harbor, MD
Mercer University
Dr. Harbor's BioDr. Harbor was born and raised in the small town of Gray, GA. She attended the University
of Georgia for Undergrad, majoring in Biology and minoring in Public Health. She then
attended Mercer University in Macon, GA for Medical School. She loves spending time
with her dog Turner, watching college football (GO DAWGS!) and Braves baseball, reading
and playing games with friends and family. She is excited to experience life in Memphis
and try all the different barbecue restaurants.

Savannah Krause, MD
University of Mississippi Medical Center
Dr. Krause's BioDr. Krause was born and raised in Ocean Springs, MS. She met her husband, Bryson,
in high school and they dated through college. She attended Ole Miss where she received
her B.S. in Biology. She attended medical school at the University of MS Medical Center.
While in medical school, she got married and had her beautiful son Elliot. In her
spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, playing with her son, visiting family, and
re-watching The Office for yet another time.

Caitlin Kutz, MD
University of Mississippi Medical Center
Dr. Kutz's BioDr. Kutz was born in Memphis and raised in Olive Branch, MS. She attended Mississippi
State University for undergrad where she majored in Biology. From there she went to
the University of Mississippi Medical Center for medical school. In her free time,
she enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, her son, Camden, and her two dogs,
Ellie and Piper. She is excited to be back in Memphis to do things like go to Redbirds
games, the zoo, and Shelby Farms.

Taylor Mobley, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Mobley's BioDr. Mobley was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She attended undergraduate at the University
of Memphis where she received her B.S. in Biology. She then worked at St. Jude as
a Research Technologist before attending medical school at UTHSC. Taylor is thrilled
to be staying in Memphis for residency! In her free time, she loves to hang out with
her husband and their energic dog Lola. They enjoy running, visiting Shelby Farms,
going to listen to free music at the Levitt Shell, and eating all the amazing food
this city has to offer!

Jackson Montrym, MD
Medical College of Georgia
Dr. Montrym's BioDr. Montrym was born and raised just outside of Albany, NY. With deep southern family
roots and always considering the Peach State as his second home, he attended the University
of Georgia, earning a BS in Biology and Geography. He received his medical degree
from the Medical College of Georgia where he was among a subset of students who attended
MCG’s Southwest Regional Campus in Albany, GA (the other Albany), doing his clinical
rotations throughout rural and medically underserved communities in Southwestern Georgia.
Jackson is super excited to make his new home in Memphis and explore what the city
has to offer! In his free time, Jackson enjoys being outdoors, running, bicycling.
Cooking, craft beer, exploring new places and anything geography related.

Nicole Nieman, MD
Texas A&M
Dr. Nieman's BioDr. Nieman was born in Detroit, MI, but grew up in El Paso, TX. She attended Texas
A&M University and studied Biology with a minor in genetics. Nicole also attended
Texas A&M for Medical School. She is excited to begin her career in Pediatrics in
Memphis. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family,
and enjoying the outdoors.

Danielle L. Noles, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Noles's BioDr. Noles was raised in the small town of Shohola in North East Pennsylvania. She
obtained a BS in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Penn State University (WE
ARE!) After undergrad, she moved to Memphis to work as a research assistant in Neurology
at Le Bonheur, during which time she met her husband, Parker. She attended Medical
school at UTHSC and is excited to stay in Memphis for her residency. In her free time,
she enjoys running, being outside, watching college football, and playing with her
new puppy, Daisy!

Samantha Ouyang, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Ouyang's BioDr. Ouyang was born in China and raised in Memphis, TN. She is proud to be a native
Memphian! Samantha attended Rhodes College (Roll Lynx!) where she received her undergraduate
degree in Biology, with a double major in Chemistry and Chinese Studies. Samantha
attended medical school right here in the heart of the city at UTHSC. In her free
time, she enjoys baking different types of Asian sweet bread, going to local coffee
shops, eating all the great food Memphis has to offer, and spending time with her
family and orange tabby cat, Garfield!

Katelyn Purvis, MD
University of Alabama
Dr. Purvis's BioDr. Purvis grew up in and around Montgomery, AL. She attended Auburn University where
she obtained her BS in Animal Sciences. (War Eagle) After graduation from Auburn She
started medical school at UAB. She is thrilled to be staying down South and training
in pediatrics at UTHSC in Memphis! When she is not working, she loves spending time
with her pups, Tessa and Cooper, reading, spending time outside, working out, cooking,
anything recently discovered on Pinterest, or playing board games! If it’s a Saturday
in the fall you don’t have to wonder what she is doing… She’s watching Auburn Football!

Hayley Scheerer, MD
University of Missouri, Columbia
Dr. Scheerer's BioDr. Scheerer was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She attended Truman State University
in Kirksville, MO and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After realizing
that basic science research was not her cup of tea, she attended medical school at
the University of Missouri – Columbia. When she is not watching Chiefs football, Royals
baseball, or St. Louis Blues hockey, she can be found painting, watching the latest
Marvel feature, or hanging out with her chinchilla, Hedwig. Hayley is very excited
to join the peds team at UTHSC and cannot wait to try some more of the Memphis famed
BBQ (although KC will always be #1 in her heart).

Heema Shah, DO
Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Shah's BioDr. Shah was born in India but raised in Depue Bay, OR. After completing her undergrad
at Organ State University in Microbiology she moved to North Carolina to attend Campbell
University School of Osteopathic Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, hiking,
reading, and game nights (Organ Attack!) Heema has a newfound interest in making her
own pasta! She has been to 20 countries and would love to swap adventure stories with
you. She is very excited to move to Memphis and explore all it has to offer!

Matthew Spangler, MD
University of North Carolina
Dr. Spangler's BioDr. Spangler was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended UNC for undergrad
where he received a BA in History with a minor in Spanish and Chemistry and stayed
in Chapel Hill for medical school as well. He is an avid fan of any and all sports,
especially if the Tar Heels are playing. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar,
watching movies, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors especially hiking,
playing tennis, and disc golf.

Marie Thompson, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Thompson's BioDr. Thompson was born in Denver but raised in Memphis! She went to Notre Dame many
moons ago. She worked for the Washington Nationals and the Grizz before moving to
New Zealand and having a quarter life crisis that landed her back at UT for med school.
She is an old married woman with an awesome daughter named Lina (she guesses her husband
is pretty awesome too). She loves spending time with the family outdoors, running,
NZ, and traveling and can’t wait to continue her training at the greatest children’s
hospital in the world! (Despite the okay program director…

)

Christopher Vogel, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Vogel's BioDr. Vogel was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He attended the University of Tennessee
for his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering. Go Vols! Austin married his
high school sweetheart, Lauren, and they moved to Memphis for Austin to begin Medical
School at UTHSC. During medical school, they made a furry addition to the Vogel family
with their dog Tucker. When he is not working, Austin enjoys playing soccer, watching
Tennessee Football, reading, and traveling with his wife. Austin is ecstatic to be
staying in Memphis for his Pediatrics Residency at Le Bonheur!

Hannah Wendelbo, DO
Oklahoma State University
Dr. Wendelbo's BioDr. Wendelbo was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. She attended Oklahoma State University
in Stillwater, OK and earned a B.S. in Microbiology & Cell and Molecular Biology.
She returned to Tulsa for medical school at Oklahoma State University. In her free
time, she enjoys outdoor activities, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and
spending time with her friends, family, and two golden retrievers. She is also a faithful
supporter of OSU athletics (Go Pokes!). Hannah is excited to begin her Pediatric residency
with UTHSC and start her new adventure in Memphis.

David Yanishevski, MD
UTHSC
Dr. Yanishevski's BioDr. Yanishevski was born and raised in Memphis. He received his BS in Behavioral Neuroscience
from Northeastern University in Boston before returning home to attend UTHSC for medical
school after spending 2 years doing research at St. Jude. In his free time, you can
find him hiking, cooking, reading on a balcony, and supporting essential businesses
like restaurants and breweries. He is a die-hard Memphis Tigers, Grizzlies, Titans,
and Red Sox fan.
