Louise Manasco joined the faculty of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in September 2023. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Union University in December 2017 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences in April 2012. Prior to joining UTHSC, she served as course coordinator of Adult Health Concepts I at Baptist Health Sciences University.
Manasco began her practice as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Hospital. During her time as an ICU nurse, she served as preceptor for new graduates and senior nursing students. She currently maintains practice hours in the medical-surgical intensive care unit. She teaches in the BSN program as an instructor in the clinical setting.
Manasco was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau in April 2012 and is currently a member. She is also an active member in the Tennessee Nurse’s Association and Greater Memphis Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She is a member of the American Nurse’s Association.
