Dr. Arabella Bruce is an Assistant Professor in the UTHSC College of Nursing, where she teaches in the psychiatric mental health concentration of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
Dr. Bruce served on the UTHSC Nursing faculty from 2018-2021. She returned to faculty part-time in July 2023 to teach in the program and to mentor faculty transitioning from the expert clinician to full-time faculty role.
Dr. Bruce earned her associate degree in nursing from Austin Peay State University. She earned both her bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) and her master of science in nursing (MSN) at the University of Memphis. She earned her DNP from the UTHSC College of Nursing in 2013.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the Tennessee Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International, Beta Theta at-Large Chapter.
