Annual Compliance Training

UTHSC Annual Compliance Training

Annual Compliance Training is a requirement for all regular faculty and staff.  Employees will receive an email with detailed instructions and information on how to access K@TE and how to successfully complete each of the following required courses. 

  • Campus Security Authority (CSA) Training
  • Code of Conduct
  • FERPA
  • Hazard Awareness and Workplace Safety
  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • Title IX: Mandatory Responsible Employees
  • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
  • IT Security Awareness
  • HIPAA Training

Training is available in K@TE.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I required to complete the compliance training?

All regular faculty, staff, and temporary help pool employees are required to complete the annual compliance training in K@TE. This excludes consultants, special appointments, friends, and retiree hires. 

Do I need to show proof of completion once the training is complete?
Proof of completion is not required. If you would like to download a completion certificate you may do so in K@TE by clicking 'My Completed Courses' from your K@TE homepage. 
I'm a business manager, how can I get a status report of my area?

To obtain a completion status report for your area please email MyBenefits@uthsc.edu and include the cost center numbers of the areas you need a status report on. 

I launched my training but nothing is showing up, what do I do?
