Research Programs
The Office of GME Research (OGR) was developed to assist clinical fellows in completing their ACGME requirements for scholarly activity and to prepare them for subspecialty board certification when applicable (e.g. American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Pediatrics, etc).
This includes development of a research training curriculum designed to advance fellows’ knowledge of the basic principles of research, including how research is conducted, evaluated, explained to patients, and applied to patient care.
The Director of GME Research will also help connect fellows with faculty who have agreed to serve as research mentors and to serve as the Ombudsperson to resolve any problems encountered during the research experience.
