Jarrod Young, CHIPS

Jarrod Young, Interim Co-Director of CHIPS, received the Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist-Advanced credential recognition from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. This credential covers design, delivery, technological, and operational simulation principles, as well as leadership and demonstrated impact on the field to meet the needs of healthcare learners at all levels.

This is the inaugural selection for this award, and Jarrod is one of only 25 selected from applicants from four countries. 

This is a tremendous honor for CHIPS and the UTHSC campus. AFSA team members are accomplishing amazing things globally and locally, and we look forward to recognizing others as “headlines” develop.
