Academic Continuity During Prolonged Closures

Occasionally events such as academic travel, inclement weather, and communicable illness outbreaks occur that can hinder the ability of instructors and students to attend classes on campus for prolonged periods of time.

Extended absences not only disrupt learning, but can also negatively influence student outcomes. This page serves as a resource for the UTHSC campus to effectively leverage the teaching tools in our technology ecosystem during extended campus closures due to unforeseen circumstances.

COVID-19 Notice

Beginning March 23, 2020 and continuing until further notice, all in-person classes will be offered remotely.

Any student or employee who tests positive for COVID-19 must contact the University immediately.
