Shannon Blair, MD
Medical University of South Carolina
Dr. Blair's Bio
Dr. Blair is originally from South Carolina, she spent her youth in the Carolinas
before attending Rhodes College for undergrad. During that time, Memphis, quickly
became her second home. After a few adventures, she returned to South Carolina for
medical school at Medical University of South Carolina. Shannon is excited to return
to Memphis for training. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside as much as possible,
playing soccer, cooking and trying new foods and drinks with friends and family.

Madison "Madi" Boles, MD
University of Tennessee HSC
Dr. Boles's Bio
Dr. Boles grew up in Cookeville, TN. She stayed in Cookeville to attend Tennessee
Technological University, where she earned her biochemistry degree and met her husband,
Logan. Since moving to Memphis for medical school, Madi and Logan have come to love
Memphis and all it has to offer, especially biking and kayaking in Shelby Farms. Madi
loves Memphis so much, she decided to stay for residency - happily staying a vol for
life (GO VOLS!!). Her favorite hobbies include baking, reading and playing board games.

Sean Dornbush, DO
Lincoln Memorial University
Dr. Dornbush's Bio
Dr. Dornbush was born and raised in Maryland. He left his home state to attend the
University of Tennessee-Knoxville (GO VOLS) where he received his BA. He spent two
years working in the OT at UTMCK then attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial
University-DeBusk College where he pursued a dual-degree program to also obtain his
MBA. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, reading, all things sports, and spending
time with family and friends. He is very excited to become a member of the UTHSC family
and begin this new adventure in Memphis.

Kaitlin Flattmann, MD
Louisiana State University, Shreveport
Dr. Flattmann's Bio
Dr. Flattmann was born and raised in Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate degree
in Biology with a minor in Social Work at the University of Arkansas, where she also
ran on the on the track and cross-country teams. She then moved back home to Shreveport,
Louisiana for Medical School. Kaitlin loves running, reading, and enjoying sunshine.
She has always been an active member of her church and excited to get plugged in there
soon. Kaitlin loves living in a city with such rich history as Memphis and thrilled
to be part of the UTHSC family!

Amanda Hardy, MD
Louisiana State University, Shreveport
Dr. Hardy 's Bio
Dr. Hardy was born in Baton Rouge, LA. She attended Tulane University for her undergraduate
education, where she received a BA in Philosophy and BS in Cell and Molecular Biology.
She attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences School of
Medicine in Shreveport. Amanda enjoys watching and playing sports, especially soccer,
and is a die-hard fan of the United States Women’s National Team. She also enjoys
listing to all types of music, exploring the outdoors, and rooting for the LSU Tigers.

Kevin Kuo, MD
Indiana University
Dr. Kuo's Bio
Kevin Kuo is from Terre Haute, IN and studied chemistry, geology, and business management
at Indiana University Bloomington and studied medicine at Indiana University School
of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. His medical interests are still broad (he narrowed
down to med-peds!) and include global health, addictions medicine, LGBTQ health, and
palliative care. Outside of medicine, his interests include cooking overly ambitious
meals, photography, climbing, and distance running. He is excited to live in Memphis
and explore its parks and trails, international grocery stores, and arts!

Erica Lavey, MD
Eastern Virginia Medical School
Dr. Lavey's Bio
Dr. Lavey was born and raised in Winchester, VA. She attended the University of Virginia
where she earned her BA in Biology and Psychology. She worked for two years after
undergraduate before attending medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS)
in Norfolk, VA. While there, she met and married her husband, Brent, and discovered
their shared love for rock climbing and video games. Erica also enjoys sewing, attempting
to bake, and playing tennis when she has free time. Erica is excited to get out of
Virginia and start a new adventure in Memphis with her husband (who is an Emergency
Medicine Intern).

Nicole Nammour, MD
Louisiana State University, Shreveport
Dr. Nammour's Bio
Dr. Nammour was born in Ruston, LA. She completed her undergrad degree at the University
of Mississippi and then went back to Louisiana to complete her medical school training
at LSU-Shreveport. She enjoys being outside, reading, spin, and barre classes, and
watching Ole Miss Rebels and Saints play football. She is excited to begin training
at UT Memphis and seeing what the city has to offer!

Carly Noel, DO
NYIT-College of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Noel's Bio
Dr. Noel grew up in Chicago, IL. She attended Tulane University in New Orleans for
her undergraduate and graduate studies in Public Health. Just before college began,
she met her husband at freshman orientation. Carly then attended NYIT-College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In her free time, she loves spending time with her
dog. doing anything outdoors, cooking, and crafting. She and her husband are excited
to become part of the UTHSC family!

Marc Parenteau, MD
Ohio State University College of Medicine
Dr. Parenteau's Bio
Dr. Parenteau was born in Fargo, ND and spent most of his childhood in northern Minnesota.
He earned a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota and attended medical
school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. He enjoys
hiking, biking bread-making, good coffee, and all things Lord of the Rings. He is
excited to live in a city where he can feel his toes in the winter. Marc is thrilled
to have the opportunity to train at UTHSC and explore what it looks like to live life
in the South!

John Pennington, MD
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Dr. Pennington's Bio
Dr. Pennington has lived in Arkansas his entire life, growing up in the small town
of Lonoke, AR. For undergrad, he moved a short hour away to attend Hendrix college
where he majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minored in history. He
stayed in Arkansas to attend medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical
Sciences. In his spare time, John enjoys trying out new cooking and baking recipes;
watching Netflix, Hulu, and of course Disney+; buying more books than he can possibly
read in a reasonable amount of time; drinking tons of coffee and exploring local coffee
shops; and finding new restaurants to eat at with friends. John is beyond excited
to live in Memphis and join the UTHSC/Le Bonheur Med-Peds family! (He can also decide
who makes the best BBQ).

Tina Phan, MD
Louisiana State University, Shreveport
Dr. Phan's Bio
Dr. Phan was born and raised in New Orleans. She spent her undergraduate days at Tulane
University and became a medical scribe at a local emergency room prior to entering
medical school. She graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where
she met her partner as a freshman in anatomy lab. Outside of medicine, Tina enjoys
watching various TV shows and movies on Netflix, cooking, and playing with her miniature
dachshund.

Alexa Rodriguez, MD
University of South Carolina
Dr. Rodriguez's Bio
Dr. Rodriguez was born in Wantagh, NY but was raised down south just outside of Charlotte,
NC. She trekked back up to NY to complete her undergraduate degree at Cornell University.
After too many single digit winters, she gradually found her way back to the warmth
of the southeast where she attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine
in Greenville, SC. Outside of medicine, she finds herself looking for new fitness
challenges, chipping away at an ever-growing book list, attempting to write bad poetry,
and exploring new restaurants to mask her lack of cooking capabilities. She is looking
forward to discovering all that Memphis has to offer, and who knows maybe she will
be a Grizzlies fan by the end of residency!

Zoe Weeks, MD
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Dr. Weeks's Bio
Dr. Weeks grew up in Northwest Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas for
undergrad where she received her B.S. in Environmental, Soil, and Water Sciences.
From there she developed a passion for working with children and joined Teach for
America. She taught 7th grade math for 3 years in St. Louis Public Schools while pursuing
graduate school. She then attended UAMS in Little Rock for medical school and is now
so excited to move to Memphis with her long-time Grizzlies fan husband and two large
Mutt dogs.
