We are pleased to announce our institution's third Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow:  Dr. Callie Hearn, as of July 1, 2026.  She is a graduate of UT College of Medicine, Chattanooga, Emergency Medicine Residency and was selected through the NRMP Sports Medicine Fellowship Match.  

Bio: I'm from Calhoun, Georgia. I attended undergrad at UGA and medical school at Mercer University in Savannah Georgia, recently completing my Emergency Medicine residency here at UT College of Medicine, Chattanooga.

I have been interested in sports medicine for as long as I can remember, my family was very sports-oriented growing up. I also shadowed orthopedic doctors throughout high school and college and my degree from UGA is in Exercise and Sport Science! I've always loved the patient population and pathology that sports medicine brings, and combining that with my EM background was a perfect fit for me. There is a surprising amount of overlap between the two, so it has made for a fun and seamless transition into fellowship.
