Kerry Kaufmann, MEd

Kerry Kaufmann’s journey in early intervention began in Texas in 1999 and switched to preschool special education classroom services for several years. Kerry returned to early intervention in the Memphis area in 2011 and Knoxville area in 2016. She joined the Pediatric Language Clinic (PLC) in October 2022. Ms. Kaufmann provides direct home-based services to families of children in Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) with characteristics of autism or an autism diagnosis. She is passionate about empowering families to be advocates for their child’s strengths and to celebrate their special interests and spirit. Her interests include sensory challenges, sibling support, and empowering new professionals entering their journey of early intervention.
