UPDATE
Clinical services for our program are now being delivered in two locations:
- UT Conference Center: Our early intervention program continues to thrive on the 2nd floor of the Conference
Center. This area was unaffected by recent flooding.
- Cherokee Mills Complex: We now have clinical spaces on the Sutherland Avenue and North Concord Street sides
of this facility. Patients are being informed of the exact location for their appointments.
We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of our patients, their families,
and community health partners during our recent disruption.

The Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology offers undergraduate, graduate, and
doctoral education in audiology and speech-language pathology. The mission of the
Department is consistent with the missions of UTHSC and the College of Health Professions.
As such, the Department serves a major public service role by:
- providing access to high quality education in audiology, speech-language pathology,
and speech and hearing sciences.
- operating clinical programs that offer excellence in care for individuals with communication
disabilities.
- generating new knowledge in the discipline of communication sciences and disorders
through active research.
- promoting life-long learning for alumni and other professionals across the state of
Tennessee.
