Post-Tenure Review
Post-Tenure Review (PTR) is a process established by the Board of Trustees whereby all tenured faculty members, except those in specific situations, must undergo a comprehensive performance review no less often than every six years. Specific situations result in:
- suspension of a PTR period,
- restarting of PTR because of an alternative comprehensive review,
- starting of the PTR period upon conclusion of a majority (>50%) administrative appointment,
- exception of a scheduled PTR related to retirement, and
- deferral or modification of PTR for good cause approved by the Chief Academic Officer.
