Commemorative Months
The Office of Access and Compliance’s programming efforts related to national observances and commemorative months are designed to enhance awareness, knowledge, and understanding, and, more importantly, support the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s (UTHSC) mission and strategic plan. Employees, students, trainees, and others can experience these sponsored education, learning, and development events and programs.
The UTHSC list highlights notable observed commemorative months, accompanied by programs and events featured in the Engagement Matters Newsletter. These recurring observances are utilized by various governments, groups, and organizations to raise awareness of an issue, commemorate a law, event, or celebrate a significant occasion.
