Advanced Education in General Dentistry
The University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry offers a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program in affiliation with Lutheran Medical Center Brooklyn, NY. Upon completion of the program, residents will receive a Certificate of Completion from Lutheran Medical Center. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited U.S. or Canadian dental school and have passed the National Board Dental Examinations Part I and II. The AEGD Program participates in PASS and MATCH application processes. Interested applicants must apply through these programs. Residents of the program provide dental care at the dental centers of the University of Tennessee Health Science Centers College of Dentistry, Church Health Center, and Christ Community Health Centers (Broad Avenue and Hickory Hill Dental Centers).
