Rheumatology

As the region's only academic rheumatology providers, our specialists also teach the latest treatments while adhering to the highest standards of evidence-based research.

The Division of Rheumatology consists of five board certified clinical faculty with unique backgrounds. Our division has a rich tradition of excellence in education and inpatient and outpatient clinical care.  Our Rheumatologist diagnose and treat the full array of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases, including Scleroderma, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Myositis, IgG4-Related Diseases, Vasculitis, crystalline arthritis, and Osteoporosis.  The conditions we treat often coexist with other health issues across multiple organ systems, which makes it crucial to consider the interconnected health concerns of the whole patient, and we ensure that our patients receive the most comprehensive care available by working closely with colleagues across specialties.
