Internal Medicine Chattanooga Call Schedule
Inpatient General Medicine Ward Teams
- Three Teams
- Admitting responsibilities are from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm Sunday through Thursday.
- Night Medicine team works 8:00 pm - 8:00 am Sunday through Thursday.
- Teams designated on call every third night.
- 24 hour call on Friday and Saturday.
- Night medicine residents off every Friday and Saturday night!
ICU Team
- 1 Academic team
- 3 Internal Medicine residents, 1 - 2 off service residents.
- Intern schedule 6:00 am - 6:00 pm 6 days a week including admissions. No night shifts during intern year.
- Senior residents alternate night and day shift 7:00 am - 7:00 pm/ 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Cardiology Team
- 1 Academic team
- 2 residents per block
- No night time call
- Duties start at 7:00 am and residents rotate every other day for long call until 8:00 pm
Elective Rotations
- No call responsibilities.
