Gastrointestinal Cancers
The Gastrointestinal Cancer group of the UTHSC Cancer Program are comprised of UT
physicians across multiple hospital systems who represent some of the nation’s leading
experts in the field. Our cancer physicians work in a multidisciplinary fashion to
formulate the best treatment options for patients with all types of GI malignancies
including those of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon/rectum/anus, pancreas
and liver among others. The goal is to provide cutting-edge care to provide the best
cancer outcomes and quality of life. Specialists represented in the multidisciplinary
GI Cancer Group at UTHSC include surgical oncologists and other specialized surgeons,
medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists.
