Endocrine Cancers
The Endocrine Neoplasia Group of the UTHSC Cancer Program is comprised of UT physicians working in multiple disciplines and within multiple hospitals and clinics within the community. This group is focused on the multidisciplinary management of both benign and malignant endocrine tumors. These include neoplasms of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands as well as gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors. There is also coordination of care and surveillance for patients and families with hereditary neuroendocrine syndromes. The focus of this group is to provide contemporary evaluation, management, and follow up for patients with endocrine tumors. Specialists include surgeons, endocrinologists, medical oncologists, radiologists, and radiation oncologists, many of whom are national leaders in their respective fields.
