Dr. Kelly Yeager has been with UT since 1998. She practiced audiology for several
years prior to coming to the UT. Just a few years after joining ASP, she pursued
her Doctor of Audiology degree and graduated with the first Au.D. class at UT in December
2003. Dr. Yeager teaches ASP 512, Clinical Practice in Audiology and ASP 510, Clinical
Education Series in Audiology in areas related to her expertise. She specializes
in infant hearing screenings, physiological and behavioral diagnostic evaluations,
hearing aid/ FM evaluations/fittings, cochlear implant programming and family support/education.
She is involved in research within the department specific to her areas of interest. She
is an affiliate of American Speech Language Hearing Association Special Interest Group
9 (Hearing and Hearing Disorders in Children) as well as a part of the Editorial Review
Board for Perspectives SIG 9. She serves on the Advisory Board for Tennessee Hands
& Voices and enjoys volunteering at events and supporting Friends of Tennessee’s Babies
with Special Needs.
