- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Allison Wegman has been at UT since 2013. Her expertise includes evaluation and treatment
of school-aged children with a focus on treating individuals with complex communication
needs. Ms. Wegman is an active member of The American Speech Language Hearing Association
Special Interest Group, Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She also conducts
AAC evaluations and provides trainings to parents to meet their needs in programming
and troubleshooting. Ms. Wegman is the Clinical Coordinator for the Hearing and Speech
Center. She assists with referral and scheduling processes. Also, she coordinates
hearing screenings with surrounding private and public school districts.
