Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center?s Jackson Family Medicine Residency Program is looking for a full-time, non-tenure track board-certified family physician to join their dynamic, fully-accredited 8-8-8 program. The program is located in Jackson, Tennessee, a medium-sized city in West Tennessee that is two hours from Nashville and one hour from Memphis. This family-oriented community provides an outstanding school system, several colleges including Union University, minor league baseball, hunting, fishing and many other community activities. The successful candidate will have the wonderful opportunity to work with a dynamic faculty, practice the full spectrum of family medicine to include obstetrics (if desired) and help train a great group of medical students, residents and fellows. Qualified applicants should hold the MD/DO degree and have a strong desire to teach. Duties include teaching, patient care, administration, community service and research/scholarly activities. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
