Payroll Office
The mission of the Payroll Office, a unit of Finance and Operations, is to provide services to UTHSC departments/employees in all facets of payroll processing. The primary services provided by the Payroll Office include processing the following:
- New employee hires and rehires
- Employee position changes/transfers
- Pay funding changes
- Tax deferred annuities
- Court garnishments
- Employee deductions (parking, tickets/fines, savings bonds, campus chest
- Longevity payments
- Longevity pay (University of Tennessee System Policy)
- Payroll Direct Deposit
- Electronic and paper personnel information/changes
- Non-resident payroll issues
- W-4 tax documents
- Employee time approval and corrections
- Employment verification
