Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of Surgery in Memphis, TN is seeking a tenure/non-tenured faculty at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank for the UTHSC/Methodist University Hospital Transplant Research Institute. Academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with experience and credentials. Candidates should be an experienced multi-organ abdominal Transplant Surgeon. Applicants must be American Board of Surgery certified/eligible and have completed an ASTS fellowship. Also, must be able to obtain a Tennessee medical license. Experience in complex liver transplantation including pediatric and live donor liver transplantation is desired. The University of Tennessee provides a compensation package which includes a competitive salary, fringe benefits and private practice allowance.
