| Gynecologic Clinical Oncology Lectures Weekly Resident Didactic Conference |
Fellows participate in a weekly one-hour didactic session, which will be led by faculty.
Bimonthly, a journal club will meet where new articles are presented by fellows. The fellows will rotate leading the journal club conference to give everyone an opportunity
to teach and present. |
| Multi-disciplinary Conferences |
Multidisciplinary tumor boards where certain cases with difficult or controversial
pathologic diagnoses and treatment plans are selected and presented by the gynecologic
oncology fellows followed by an in-depth review of the pathology, imaging and treatment
options. In addition, all surgical cases from the prior two weeks are reviewed and
treatment decisions are approved by the faculty. Faculty from pathology, interventional
radiology, radiation oncology and gynecologic oncology participate in each conference.
Fellows and medical students are also invited to attend. |
| M & M Conferences |
Every other week fellows will attend the Morbidity and Mortality meeting where they
will participate in correcting systematic errors in our departmental organization
and will work on practice improvement in this context. |
