The College of Health Professions launched a COHP Coronavirus Information website at https://uthsc.edu/health-professions/covid-19/index.php. We encourage everyone to be informed using this website as a resource and contact point for all updated College information and policies in regard to this health crisis.

Webinar: The Role of Laboratory Testing in the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Department of Diagnostic and Health Sciences in the UTHSC College of Health Professions will host a panel of experts Wednesday, April 22, for a webinar on “The Role of Laboratory Testing in the COVID-19 Pandemic”. The webinar, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, is open to the UTHSC community, health care providers, and the public.

SGAEC Outstanding Teaching and Genuine Concern for Students Award

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Steve Doettl on receiving the 2019-2020 SGAEC Outstanding Teaching and Genuine Concern for Students Awards. The Awards are presented to faculty members who exhibited the following qualities: demonstration of outstanding teaching ability, presentation of materials in a way that sparks interest and independent thought, effective organization and communication of subjects, responsiveness to students inside and outside of classrooms, and genuine concern for students’ learning.
