Norfleet Forum for the Advancement of Health was established at the UT Health Science Center in 1979 through a designated fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. The mission of the Norfleet Forum is to focus on the improvement of the health status of the citizens who reside in Memphis / Shelby County, the State of Tennessee, the nation, and the world, through concern for effective health policies and organization. The 2026 Norfleet Forum will focus on violence prevention. Multiple sectors including public health, community organizations, and law enforcement will convene to discuss the root causes of violence. Learn More Department / Division: Obstetrics and Gynecology Activity Medical Director: John Schorge, MD Activity Coordinator: Victor Carrozza, vcarrozz@uthsc.edu The 40th Annual Conference on Contemporary Issues in Obstetrics and Gynecology will provide evidence-based updates on a wide range of topics in obstetrics and gynecology, while highlighting our commitment to improving the health of our patients and the dissemination of medical knowledge to healthcare professionals. Conference faculty consists of UTHSC faculty and guest speakers. Content is chosen based on surveys from our previous meetings and literature updates on current and emerging topics. Topics will be presented to address individual knowledge gaps and will include skills and methodologies within the practice environment. A panel discussion at the end of each session will allow interaction between faculty and participants. |
