Digital Content
University websites are among our most highly visible communications. The Digital Content team assists departments with reinforcing the university's mission and keeping acccessibility in mind. Currently, all UTHSC websites must meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.
Website Requests
The Digital Content team advises each department to have an assigned dedicated content manager who is responsible for website upkeep. For training requests, please reach out to website@uthsc.edu to help schedule your dedicated content manager to be able to make website updates.
Photography/Videography Requests
The Office of Communications and Marketing develops and manages an online database of campus photography for marketing needs. Please email photos@uthsc.edu for more information.

Headshots
As the strategic goals of the university shift, the Office of Communications and Marketing is transitioning away from taking individual headshots for university faculty and staff. All headshots for digital purposes will now utilize the photobooth machine located in the Health Sciences Library (Alexander Building, Floor 2-5, 877 Madison Ave Memphis, TN 38163).
The headshot booth is located in the main lobby of the Health Sciences Library. As you walk in the library, there will be signs that point you to the location.
When using the photobooth, simply follow the on-screen instructions and take your headshot. You are able to review your headshots and take as many as you would like, before picking the top choice. After choosing your headshots, the photobooth will email you up to 3 images to use. Once you have received the email, click on the link to create an account and download your images.
Once you have downloaded your images, choose the one you would want to be associated with your digital presence and rename the file to your net ID. Email the photo that you chose to photos@uthsc.edu. Our team will follow up as needed. Please allow up to 7 business days for your headshot to appear on our website. We appreciate your patience as we introduce this new resource!
