Doctors may apply to the Categorical Cardiology Fellowship through the ERAS (ACGME ID 1414721175).
Applications are currently being accepted for the academic year beginning July 2024.
Interviews will be held virtually only during September and October 2023.
Application Requirements
The following supporting documents must be submitted via ERAS or mailed directly to the program (920 Madison Avenue, Ste. 531 Memphis, TN 38163):
- updated Curriculum Vitae
- personal statement
- copy of exam scores
- three letters of recommendation

- Graduation from an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency within the last 5 years
- Must be willing to work on a J1 Visa only
Research
The Categorical Fellowship program offers opportunities in both the basic sciences and patient-based clinical research.
The foundation of this program is investigator-initiated hypothesis-driven research conducted in a mode of discovery. A bedside-to-bench and bench-to-bedside approach forms the underpinning to its translational research program.
