Resident Research
Research participation is a requirement in our program, and we have plenty of it going on! Our department has a designated research team led by Dr. Anna Joy Rogers.
Each May, our department sponsors The Annual Bradford Kincheloe Visiting Professor Lecture and Resident Research Forum. This research forum is dedicated to the memory of Bradford W. Kincheloe, MD, Professor and Residency Program Director, for his significant contributions to teaching in the field of women’s health care.
Abstracts are presented by our PGY-3 resident class to over 100 guests in one of our state-of-the-art auditoriums on the UTHSC campus. Three faculty judges pick the top presenters, and it is quite an honor! Dr. Logan McClure and Dr. Jasmine Eliwa were selected as winners this year.
The 2024 distinguished professor featured Randal D. Robinson, MD, MBA, Professor and Chair Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fran Harrison Chair in Reproductive Endocrinology, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, who discussed, “Management of Non-tubal Ectopic Pregnancies.”
We are proud to announce that our department will be hosting it’s very first annual research forum in September 2024! Presenters throughout our campus and from within our community will be featured and we will have more information coming soon!
