I can honestly say I loved my time at UTHSC. UTHSC’s Neurology Residency Program equipped me with vital skills for my Neurocritical Care fellowship and current role as junior faculty. Memphis’s diverse patient population and strong program leadership enabled me to develop and implement a new Simulation Education curriculum as a chief resident, that is still utilized within the program. This allowed me to implement the same curriculum at my current institution as well. Additionally, the mentorship the residency provided helped me get selected as a participant in the AAN Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum and subsequently receive a grant. I love the perspective that UTHSC has given me as a clinician, educator, and researcher and am proud that I get to use my experiences from my time there in building my career.  - Brittany Kasturiarachi, DO

My journey at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) was truly transformative. Completing my residency in Neurology and fellowship in Neurocritical care at UTHSC equipped me with the skills and confidence I needed to excel in my career. Beyond the rigorous training, exceptional mentorship, and hands-on learning environment, UTHSC also provided me with valuable administrative and leadership experiences that have been instrumental in my career. This foundation has been crucial in my current position as the Medical Director of the Neuro ICU.  UTHSC played a pivotal role in shaping the physician I am today, and I am deeply grateful for the outstanding education and support I received. -Rashi Krishan, MD
