Office of Research
The Office of Research oversees all activities including human research participants, while providing the following:
1. Consultation during protocol preparation
2. Review of protocols, consent forms, and other compliance-related documents before study approval is requested from compliance entities
3. Post-approval monitoring to ensure that approved procedures are being used and research participants are protected
4. Education and training on research compliance
5. Development of institutional policies to protect human research participants.
Goal: To create an environment that fosters the ethical conduct of human subjects research through quality assurance and education.
