The Global Surgery Institute seeks to provide international opportunities for UTHSC faculty, residents, and students interested in international health to promote the field of academic global surgery.

GRIT (Guided Resident International Training)
- GRIT is a global health track offered to the Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and MedPeds residents which provides medical education focused on underserved population health and providing evidence-based care in low resource settings.
