UT Contrast-induced Acute Kidney Injury (CI-AKI) Risk Score

This score is designed as a research tool to estimate the probability that a patient with STEMI may develop contrast-induced acute kidney injury after diagnostic angiography and/or PCI.

(SBP <80 mm for at least 1 h requiring inotropic support with medications or IABP within 24 h)

Formula

let a = -3.748 + 1.288*IABP + 1.521*Hypotension - 0.032*LVEF + 0.024*Age + 1.293*CKD + 0.013*LVEDP + 0.015*eGFR

Risk Score = ea/(1 + ea)

AKI Risk Score = Probability of developing AKI

Incomplete! Please enter all required inputs to check for elevated risk of contrast induced kidney injury
