Campus Environmental Health and Safety endeavors to provide a comprehensive safety program for students, staff, and visitors. Major program areas include: Fire Safety, Accidents, Hazardous Materials, Chemical Safety, and more. This section will help you prepare and respond to life threatening emergencies.

Occupational Health Services of University Health Services at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a source of convenient and compassionate care for faculty members and staff members with a primary emphasis on a healthy lifestyle and safe work environment. 

The University Police Department is responsible for the safety and security of the campus and the University community. We believe everyone can play an important role in keeping the UTHSC campus a safe place to learn, work and live.

We provide services to assist the University in proactively managing biological, chemical, physical, and radiological hazards in academic and research laboratories. Our goal is to work cooperatively with faculty, scientists, and students to reduce hazards and risks.
