The UTHSC RBL welcomes collaborative partnerships with internal, external, commercial and government agencies. Investigators in academic, not-for-profit organizations, industry, and government studying biodefense and emerging infectious diseases may request the use of biocontainment laboratories. Refer to our FAQs below for more information.

What are our main areas of focus?

  • To test and evaluate small molecules, vaccines, and diagnostics to protect the general population from infectious diseases and bioterrorism.
  • To develop small animal models for testing.

Need a contract/agreement?

UTHSC is a fee-for-service facility, we have no entitlement to your intellectual property or publications. If you need to set up an agreement - MTA, NDA (CDA), or RSA - before studying with the RBL, please fill out the basic information in the templates below and submit them here.  You can also use a template agreement of your organization.
