Plastic Surgery Fellowships
Reconstructive
The reconstructive fellowship provides an in-depth experience with both congenital and acquired craniofacial deformities. The fellow will be involved in the clinical experience at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There is a three month rotation during the one year period with Dr. Eric Arnaud in Paris, France for a concentrated experience in the treatment of craniosynostosis and congenital cranial malformations.
Applicants
Applications accepted through SF Match. You must also complete and submit a CAS application form. Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery residency is required.
All applicants, including International Foreign Medical Graduates, who have passed USMLE parts 1, 2 and 3, are welcome to apply.

Burn
The Burn fellowship provides clinical education in burn critical care and all aspects of burn surgery including reconstruction is offered through a 14-bed Burn Center located in Memphis’ large tertiary referral hospital, Regional One Health (ROH). Research activity is encouraged and supported. The Burn Center is staffed by plastic surgeons and the burn fellow is strongly encouraged to participate in the Plastic Surgery Program including Grand Rounds, Journal Club, clinics and operative procedures.

Call
No regular at-home call but may be required to cover free flaps, craniofacial, or burn cases taken back evenings and/or weekends within the Duty Hour requirements.

Conferences
All fellows must attend the didactics conference every Thursday afternoon.
