COVID-19 Update

Faculty, Staff, and Students,

In an effort to keep you up-to-date with the latest impacts of COVID-19 on our campus, I want to share that one of our faculty members is currently under quarantine, as directed by the Shelby County Health Department. The faculty member is under a 14-day quarantine because they came into contact with the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 in Shelby County. The Shelby County Health Department has advised that no additional steps are necessary at this time.

According to the Shelby County Health Department, the immediate risk to the general public in Shelby County is low. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to keep you updated of any news that will impact UTHSC.
