At The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), our goal is to improve the health care of the residents of our city, our state and our region. Our team of anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, anesthesia technicians and nurse practitioners is committed to improving patient outcomes by educating all members in current methods of perioperative care. We utilize state-of-the-art anesthesiology techniques and clinically-proven methods to benefit patients and to enhance the science of anesthesiology. We teach these techniques to our anesthesiology residents so that they are competent consultants and that they can bring their skills to our region.
