Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship

2 Fellowship Positions
4 Core Faculty + Volunteer Faculty
ACGME-accredited 2-Year Fellowship

Our Child and Adolescent psychiatry fellows receive experience at many sites, enabling them to see the spectrum of child and adolescent psychopathology as well as the different systems of care. They get accustomed to working in different settings and navigating the child mental health system in this area. The goal is to provide a basic understanding of the different ways that child and adolescent psychiatrists function in the system.

We are closely connected to the residents in the Department of Psychiatry as well as medical students at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  Faculty and fellows interact, teach and mentor these students.

Why Memphis?

A. Schwab's on Beale Street

Known as the "Birthplace of Rock 'n Roll," Memphis has always been a big city with a small town heart. It offers magnificent music (we're the home of Elvis, Stax, Justin Timberlake, and the Blues), fantastic food (we take our barbecue very, very seriously!), spectacular sports (Grizzlies, Redbirds, or Tigers anyone?), and colossal concerts (including Garth Brooks, Twenty One Pilots, and Bruno Mars and the Beale Street Music Festival) and all of this served with side of southern charm.

Learn what it's like to spend 36 hours in Memphis. It's where cool started.
