About

UT Smiles is a program set up by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry to provide dentures and other dental services to members of the community in need through a sliding scale payment system, resulting in reduced cost to the patient.

Why?

We believe that a smile is essential for a healthy productive life. Those who cannot afford dentures when they need them may struggle to eat properly, secure a job, or interact with confidence. Offering low-cost or free dentures and dental procedures contributes to the health and quality of life in our community. Dental students also have requirements to complete their dental education, therefore this program helps us to ensure they are able to meet those requirements.
