Why I Chose OB/GYN: I found in medical school that I truly loved taking care of primarily women and really wanted to be an advocate and ally for that particular population. I find this profession to be one in which we can really get to know our patients and hopefully improve their lives in some small way. I really enjoy the continuity the field potentiates.
Why I Chose Chattanooga: Chattanooga is beautiful! Having lived in Illinois my entire life, I was really ready for a change of pace and scenery. I loathe snow and frankly hoped to never see it again! When I came to interview, I loved the residents. I decided if I was moving away from my family, I needed a work family and my colleagues have not disappointed.
OB/GYN Areas of Interest: I love all things OB but also enjoy office procedures and straight-stick laparoscopy
Hobbies: Singing, Reading, Cross-stitch, Puzzles, Board games, Baking, and spending time with friends - near and far - and family as well as my dog, Romeo
