Residency Training Program
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center provides comprehensive 5 year postgraduate training in the medical and surgical management of head and neck disorders in a rich academic environment. The first year is spent rotating through the general surgery specialties, such as Plastic Surgery, Anesthesia, Pediatric Surgery, ICU, and Endoscopy, as well as 6 months of Otolaryngology. The remaining 4 years are devoted to further advancement in training to encompass the wide range of clinical and operative aspects of our field.
