Audiology and Speech Pathology
The University of Tennessee Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral education in audiology and speech-language pathology. The mission of the Department is consistent with the missions of the University of Tennessee and the College of Health Professions. As such, the Department serves a major public service role by (1) providing access to quality education in audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech and hearing sciences, (2) operating clinical programs that offer quality care for individuals with communication disabilities, (3) generating new knowledge in the discipline of communication sciences and disorders through active research, and (4) promoting life-long learning for Department alumni and other professionals in Tennessee.
