A strategic map is a one-page summary of the priorities that are necessary and sufficient to meet our central challenge, that is, our mission. The priorities that are necessary and sufficient to meet the central challenge each have objectives to meet the priority. In addition, there are priorities that a crosscutting, i.e., a component of each of the other priorities.

The CGHS Strategic Map is evaluated on a semi-annual basis to identify the most important objectives and adjust to accomplishments or changes in priorities. Implementation teams have the responsibility to set specific tasks that will meet the top objectives.
