Ultrasound Fellowship

The Ultrasound fellowship program at UTHSC is designed to prepare obstetricians and gynecologists for a practice that incorporates advanced ultrasound techniques.

Unique Opportunities

Our program is the only fellowship of its kind in the state of Tennessee and benefits from a wide referral base that provides exposure to a great variety of pathology making our graduates comfortable managing complex ultrasound cases.

Goals

• Our program allows ob/gyns to maintain their clinical skills while participating as clinical instructors in the Department of Ob/Gyn.
• We aim to train our fellows in advanced Ob/Gyn ultrasound from performance to interpretation and communication.
• We offer the opportunity and expect our fellows to participate in ultrasound-related research projects and educational activities.
