Class Descriptions
Gentle Yoga & Meditation
A slow-paced class featuring seated and supported postures, and yogic breathing. The class flows through a series of gentle movements connecting your breath to your body aiding in relaxation. The class winds down with a guided meditation and extended savasana.
Vinyasa Flow
A dynamic form of yoga that uses breath to link physical yoga postures and bring mindful awareness to the mind-body connection. Each class is different and includes postures of low to medium intensity sequenced in a way to help increase strength, balance, and flexibility. Appropriate for all levels.
Guided Meditations
A practice that invokes relaxed concentration led by a teacher, in person, or via audio or video. This class will help you enter into a state of deep relaxation and inner stillness and assist in bringing about positive personal changes.
Pilates Reformer Class
A total body workout on the Merrithew Reformer that will help strengthen your body, increase your flexibility, and improve your body alignment. All fitness levels are welcome!
All-Level Yoga
Revitalize your body, relax your mind, and reduce stress with standing flows and floor asanas (poses) to increase your strength and flexibility, and improve breath capacity. Ideal for all levels, beginners to experienced participants. Options and modifications are offered so the pose can work for you. More challenging poses and breathing techniques (yoga pranayama) may be offered with instructions to assist you.
All-Level Pilates
This is an all-levels Pilates class performed on the mat. Participants will be taken through a series of Pilates mat exercises that explore various body positions, planes of motion, & joint movements to sculpt the body while building muscle and core strength and endurance. The class may use Pilates props (i.e., Weights, Pilates Circle, TheraBands, etc.) for some exercises at the instructor’s discretion.
