Assess safety and make appropriate disposition: harm to self and harm to others

Assess trauma history/Ace score

Facility in assessing patients in various care settings

Diagnosis:

Diagnosis DSM substance use disorders

X

Assess for presence of comorbid psychiatric diagnoses

X

Treatment:

Describe the range of treatment options for various substance use disorders in different care settings

X

Demonstrate familiarity with medications used to treat substance use disorders and withdrawal syndromes and common co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses

X

Facility with behavioral health interactions, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and twelve step facilitation

X

Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team

X

All other procedures are performed under direct supervision of a faculty member.
