Why I chose OBGYN: For me, OBGYN is the perfect combination of all of the things that I love about medicine: surgery, a hands-on specialty, continuity of care with my patients, providing obstetric care & delivering babies, and being able to support and educate my patients through each aspect of their care.
Why I chose Chattanooga: My biggest draw initially to this program was the resident family. I loved being able to sense immediately how close many of the residents were with each other and knew that this would be an incredible form of support throughout my 4 years of residency. Additionally, I loved the one-on-one teaching that I received as a student (from both residents and faculty) and was confident I would receive similar teaching and training as a resident.
OB/GYN Areas of Interest: I plan to work as an OBGYN generalist once graduating. I love the variety of clinic, the OR, and labor and delivery and enjoy every day being unique!
Hobbies: I love spending time with my husband, two golden retrievers, family, and friends! Some of my favorite activities include hiking, backpacking, cooking, and baking.
