Leanne Widmer has been with UT since 2014, serving within in the Pediatric Language Clinic (PLC). Ms. Widmer provides direct home-based and center-based services to families of children in Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) with red flags for autism or an autism diagnosis. She also provides consultation services to early interventionists who serve children with red flags for autism in outlying counties. Her primary focus is to assist families in accomplishing the goals established for their child on the Individualized Family Service Plan. Her interests include sensory integration, early intervention, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is passionate about parent coaching and seeks to include parents in all aspects of therapeutic intervention
