Non-Work Related Injury/Illness
Our goal is for all UTHSC employees to have their own primary care providers (PCP) and University Health Services can be your provider, seeing you for non work-related injuries or personal care. Care is provided by a team of nurse practitioners and physicians who are able to cover the services of a family practice center.

Do I need an appointment? Yes, you will need an appointment for non work-related injury/illness. Our office phone number is 901-448-5630. Appointments are scheduled and providers do their best to remain on schedule. All patients are seen in order of their appointment, by provider, with the exception of work injuries. Employees who are injured or ill due to conditions at the job site will be seen on a walk-in priority basis. What type of illnesses do you treat? Our staff can treat a variety of illnesses, such as sinus infections, earaches, and strep infections. UHS also provides preventive care such as influenza vaccination, women's and men's health, maintenance allergy desensitization and travel health consultation. Where do I go for these services? 910 Madison, Suite 922, on the UTHSC campus. How much will it cost me? Professional services and other services such as laboratory and X-ray are provided by our staff and are billed to your insurance provider. On the job injury is billed to worker's compensation. What other services can you provide?
